Cheltenham's Outdoor Heated Swimming Resort
Accessibility
This year we have changed the Lido website so that it is more
accessible for everyone.
- The main change is that we have fully implemented Cascading
Style Sheets to dictate how the website looks and acts.
- The text-size has increased as our client-base includes the
elderly and children. It is easily changed by using your browser's
in-built menu system.
- Javascript Alternative - The menu system gets automatically replaced with a text-only version when the user has disabled
Javascript or uses an incompatible browser
- All areas are accessible. Our previous 'text-only' version was a
cut down version of the website. Now, if you wish to view this site
using a text-only browser, you will still be able to access all
content apart from our photo gallery and image map pages.
- We do not use images to display text and have alternative text
descriptors for all of our images.
| What are your experiences of using our website?
We are especially interested to hear from you if you have a
disability which means that you navigate our site with a browser
other than Mozilla, MSIE, Opera etc. |
Our website conforms to Level Triple-A of the W3C Web
Content Accessibility Guidelines including all Priority 1,
Priority 2 and Priority 3
checkpoints as defined in the Guidelines.
We have not cluttered up every page with the following three icons but
take our word for it that every page has been designed and built
to the same strict rules.
