Waiting for the first swimmer

The first people to enter the water were members of Cheltenham Swimming and Water Polo Club with a diving display.

This was followed by a mannequin display (local models) of the latest swimwear of which the majority came from Cavendish House. One of the ‘mannequins’ still resides in Cheltenham and attended our 70th Anniversary celebrations on the 28th May 2005.
