The new 5-day weather forecast is now being trialled on the weather page. The live weather updates
every hour while the lido is open and the 5-day forecast updates twice a day. If you notice any issues
with the weather feed, please let me know straight away.

The issues with the Weather Page have now been resolved. I have removed
the information for sunset/sunrise as it does not directly relate to our business at the lido but
added a UV Index indicator. This should help our customers to come prepared on the hot days! As I
continue with the weather, I hope to be able to put a five-day forecast online soon. Updates to come!

There is an issue with the live Weather system which is as a result of a change in feed from our
weather syndicator - weather.com. We will try to resolve this problem as soon as possible.

I've decided to set out a webmaster blog so that everyone has somewhere to look in order to find
out the progress of developments and issues with the Sandford Parks Lido Website. The month of
April to May is one of the busiest in the web-season for the lido and as a result we've located
a fair few bugs and glitches. I'm pleased to say that the previously unknown bug with Firefox
and the Image Map page has been resolved, it only became apparent when I found out that FF users
couldn't see the new-style Events page. Anyway, it's all working now.
The Sandford Parks Lido Website is built in true HTML/CSS and it incorporates Perl, PHP and JavaScript for its behind-the-scenes scripting. It is in a state of Semi-Content Management where some of the content is updated regularly by Lido Team Members and the remainder is fixed by the Webmaster.
