Strap in and get ready for mach speed in the great outdoors, with the adrenaline-fuelled eighties classic that made Tom Cruise a megastar. A perfect warm-up to the sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, due out later this year!

Note: due to local noise regulations, the soundtrack to the film will be broadcast through wireless headphones which will be given to ticket holders on arrival.

COVID Safe Guarantee: if COVID-related control measures are still in force on the date of the event, appropriate measures will be put in place, and any customers unable to attend for Coronavirus-related reasons will be fully refunded or offered tickets for an alternative, future event.

Food and Drink: hot food including chilli and rice, katsu curry and rice, gourmet hot dogs (including vegetarian), burgers (including vegetarian), jacket potatoes and topped wedges will be available from the lovely folks at Katie’s, as well as amazing coffees from Stimulatte and a great bar from Simply Prosecco, selling fizz on tap, beers, wines and soft drinks. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink to the event, including alcohol. However, no glass is permitted onsite at the Lido, so please bring drinks in plastic containers only. Please respect the venue and take your litter home with you.

Seating: deckchairs in prime positions will be provided for those purchasing premium seats (plus a blanket to use for the evening), all other customers selecting standard seating must bring their own low-backed camping chairs, bean bags, deckchairs or picnic rugs.

Other Information: under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The film is rated 12A. Please respect the venue and take your litter home after the screening.

Parking: free parking is available from 7.30pm in the Keynsham Road car park immediately outside the Lido.

Weather policy: screenings go ahead in all but worst weathers. Only if there’s heavy, prolonged rain or high winds forecast will the screening be postponed or cancelled. No refunds will be given unless the screening is cancelled. Umbrellas are permitted in the screening area until the film is about to begin, but must then be put away so that those behind you can see the screen.
