Aqua Fit

Aqua is suitable for anyone and everyone that is looking to develop their fitness. With the music playing (and hopefully the sun shining), our outdoor sessions have that holiday feel! (Minimum age 16)

Days/Times:

  • Tuesday evenings (deep water) - 6pm-6:45pm
  • Wednesday & Friday mornings (shallow water) - 9:30am-10:15am
  • Saturday mornings (deep water) - 11am-11:45am

Pay per Class: £4 Members / £6 Non-Members

Pay for 5 Classes: £18 Members / £28 Non-Member

HIIT

This session uses land-based activities to improve endurance, strength and overall fitness. With different exercises every session, this class is suitable for all abilities. This class will take place on the main lawn of the Lido in all weathers, so be prepared to get wet if the lovely British weather doesn't cooperate... (Minimum age 16)

Day: Monday evenings

Time: 7:30pm-8:15pm

Swim for Fitness

Join Anthony, our 'Lido Swim Master', for a coached session designed to improve your endurance, stroke and technique. This class is ideal for anyone looking to develop their skill for a triathlon or swimming event, or simply to develop their fitness. Drop in for however long you like or join us for the whole session! (Minimum age 13)

Days/Times:

  • Tuesday mornings - 6:30am-8am
  • Wednesday evenings - 6pm-6:45pm

Yoga

This class uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation and is suitable for all abilities. Yoga helps to improve health and happiness - its main goals are physical and mental health. Based on the ancient fitness science of Hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format. Between October and March, this class will be held in the Lido cafe. (Minimum age 16)

Tuesday mornings - 8am-9:15am
Saturday mornings - 9:30am-10:45am

    Pilates

    This class is focused on improving flexibility and stability by strengthening muscles - in particular, the torso-stabilising muscles of the abdomen and lower back. Pilates concentrates on balance and posture and helps to improve general fitness and overall wellbeing, as well as the mind-body connection. The classes will take place in the cafe or on the lawn (weather dependent). Minimum age 16

    • Monday mornings - 9am-10am
    • Thursday mornings - 8am-9am
