SWIMMING POOL

In the event of an emergency, you must clear the swimming pool and follow the instructions provided by the lifeguards.
All swimmers must wear appropriate swimwear. Clothing which is restrictive or ill fitting is not permissible. Additional garments, used solely for the purpose of swimming, may be worn over the top of a swimming costume. Guidance on appropriate swimwear •Swimwear must be safe, clean and respect the dignity of all customers and staff.
Swimming costumes should offer appropriate cover and have adequate thickness of linings.
Swimming shorts should offer appropriate cover, have adequate thickness of linings, be cut above the knee, be of lightweight material (no denim) and include a gusset.
Do not swim for at least 48 hours after suffering vomiting or diarrhoea. Please do not swim for 14 days after diarrhoea symptoms have stopped if you have been told you have cryptosporidium.

 

BOOKING ATTENDANCE

Season ticket holders and day users are permitted to book in advance.
Please make every effort to transfer your booking via the online portal if you are unable to attend a booked session. This allows other customers to utilise the space. Cancellation or transferring of reserved sessions is permitted, provided that such cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of the activity start time. Failure to attend a booked activity without giving the requisite notice 3 times within any 30 day period will result in the loss of advanced booking rights for 1 week (7 days).
For safety reasons, customers will not be permitted to access a group fitness class 15 minutes after the class has commenced.

 

LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

It is a condition of admission to Sandford Parks Lido, that Sandford Parks Lido Limited shall accept no responsibility whatsoever for the loss of damage to property of users whether or not such loss or damage results from the negligence of sandford parks lido limited and all users are required to take appropriate steps to safeguard their property.

 

CHANGING ROOMS

Children under the age of 8 may change in the changing room of their accompanying parent/adult, whether male or female.
Any articles we find, including items left in lockers at the end of the day will be removed and kept in storage. Sandford Parks Lido accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to property of users and all users are required to take appropriate steps to safeguard their property.
We are required to keep most found items of clothing/equipment etc for up to four weeks. After this time, we reserve the right to dispose of these items as we see fit. For hygiene reasons, we do not keep items of underwear, hairbrushes and combs etc.

 

POOL RULES

●       No water pistol

●       No Children over 8 will be permitted into the small pool

●       No food or drink to be consumed in the pool

●       No photos to be take in the water (Camera users must be outside the pool water)

●       No hard balls

●       No snorkel and masks

●       No running

●       No Diving

●       No Large Inflatables

●       No Smoking on site – Only in the designated smoking area in the car park

●       No alcohol to be drunk or bought into side

●       No abusive behaviour to staff or other customers will be tolerated.

The following is a list of T&C’s which, when booking a wave, you will be required to comply with.

Please note, some of these rules will have consequences if they are not complied with.

 

Season Ticket Holders

1. Your vehicle must be registered in order to receive free parking (this will be controlled via a camera system, you will not require a physical permit) – if you have not declared your car reg number already, please send it to Joe@sandfordparkslido.org.uk

2. You MUST bring your Season Ticket with you on every visit. Failure to produce your Season Ticket may result in you having to pay for a full-priced ticket

 

General Usage Rules

Sandford Parks Lido does not offer refunds. Sandford Parks Lido will transfer the booking if notice has been given 24 hours in advance.
During a lane swim only session swimmers must be able to swim 50m confidently.
No refund or transfers will be permitted as a result of poor weather on or before the day except if the Lido is forced to close. 24 hours notice must be given.
Bookings can be transferred to an alternative date and this can be processed in your account.
Failure to turn up for your booking 3 times or more may result in you being barred for the next week
A lifeguard may ask you to move lanes if they do not feel you are in the correct lane for your speed.
Swimmers must be off site 30 minutes after the final whistle.

 

SWIMMING POOL

Please follow all instructions provided by our team of lifeguards to maximise your enjoyment of your visit.
Diving is only permitted in designated areas. Do not dive into shallow water.
To assist in maintaining water quality, showering prior to the use of the swimming pool is requested.
