Welcome to the cold water season 2024!
We are looking forward to welcoming you all back to the Lido during winter season.
The season starts on the 2nd November 2024 and will run until February 26th 2025.
We hold Group Inductions for those new to cold water swimming and would like some help and guidance. More information can be found HERE.
Please look after yourself and other swimmers. Please let the lifeguards know if someone needs assistance.

Our CEO Julie’s Rowing Challenge for Sandford Parks Lido 🚣🏼♀️
“As CEO of the Lido, I felt it was my duty to take on a personal challenge to support our sustainability project. This year, I discovered rowing with the charity Just Row Gloucestershire, and to my surprise, despite my previous injuries, my body can row! So, it only felt right to set myself a rowing challenge!”
Julie’s training is in full swing - 25KM on the rowing machine before she heads to work 🔥 Though the sound of the rower is driving her kids mad, she moved her sessions to the deck…now it’s probably the neighbours turn! 😅😂

From today, until the 11th of October, we’ll be operating under the following adjusted timetable (swipe 👉🏻)
🗓️ Please note that any sections marked CLOSED refer to our later opening times of 12pm on those days.
🌡️ The pool temperature will now be set at a comfortable 21 degrees Celsius throughout this period.
🧑🧑🧒 Our children’s pool is now closed.
We look forward to seeing you soon, wether that be for a general swim, to participate in our swim challenge or for our annual dog swim 🤩🐶
